Tony Chard is a decorated U.S. Army Gulf War veteran, accomplished real estate leader, and the visionary founder of The American Dream Realty Pros LLC—Oregon’s premier real estate provider. Born in 1970 in Redmond, Oregon, and raised in Madras, Chard graduated from Madras Senior High School in 1988 before enlisting in the U.S. Army, where he served in a combat zone during the Gulf War. His military service forged a foundation of discipline, integrity, and mission-driven leadership that has defined his 28-year career in real estate.After returning to civilian life, Chard earned an Associate of Science degree from Central Oregon Community College while living in Bend (1992–1997). In 1997, he relocated to Klamath Falls to help launch the Running Y Ranch Resort, which earned national recognition as the Best New Affordable Golf Course in America in 1998. As a top producer and sales manager until 2005, he built a reputation for excellence in high-volume sales and team performance. He later sold commercial properties, land, farms, and homes with Re/MAX.In 2007, Chard moved to Gilbert, Arizona, where he became a leading expert in short sales during the housing crisis. Recruited by Countrywide Home Loans (acquired by Bank of America in 2008), he built their Short Sale Department from the ground up and later ran the entire Freddie Mac Closing Department. In 2011, he developed a proprietary short sale platform that empowered agents and homeowners, closing over 500 short sales between 2011 and 2016. During this time, he managed a team of more than 15 agents and graduated summa cum laude from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Government Law.Returning to Oregon in 2024 with Heartland Realty LLC, Chard channeled his extensive expertise into a bold new vision. In October 2025, he founded The American Dream Realty Pros LLC, designing it to be Oregon’s premier real estate provider.
